OVERVIEW From world-class hotels, country clubs and theme parks to leisure centres, exhibition venues and catering services, there is a world of opportunities out there for hard-working, business-minded managers with the right skills and knowledge. Our International Hospitality Business Management course will give you the tools to help you seize these opportunities and pursue your career goals in the international hospitality industry. Preparing you for a range of management careers in this sector, our course has a strong international focus, meaning you will be able to apply what you learn to organisations overseas. You will develop specialist knowledge in areas ranging from events to food and beverage operations, while you will also be able to hone your hospitality skills in our award-winning restaurants on campus. Our course, which is accredited by the Institute of Hospitality, also features the opportunity for you to go on a paid 12-month work placement, giving you extensive experience of the industry before you graduate. From Italy and Ireland to the USA and Hong Kong, our past students have worked at prestigious venues around the world. Students studying the FdA will have the option of progressing onto the final year of the BA (Hons).
I’ve been exposed to so many different unforgettable experiences that have given me a really rounded view of the industry and the skills to match.
