SUBJECT-SPECIFIC FACILITIES University College Birmingham’s Aspire Aesthetics clinic offers a clinical environment using the latest UV and ultrasonic sterilisation technology, three clinically-controlled laser rooms and three consultation rooms where comprehensive client management software is used. The clinic also features state-of-the-art equipment including Observ 520 and a range of multi-platform, non-surgical and non-invasive face and body equipment, as well as providing treatment from top brands including Lynton Lasers and Mesoestetic. PRACTICAL APPLICATION Working in our Aspire Aesthetics clinic, not only will you be learning using the very latest equipment, from cryotherapy machines (fat freezing) to high intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU), but you will also be working with real paying clients to put your training into practice. Find out more about our clinic at ucbaesthetics.com WORK PLACEMENT As part of the course, you will also gain invaluable real-world experience through a work placement, allowing you to network and build professional relationships – a vital skill for novice practitioners RESIDENTIAL VISITS You will have the opportunity to travel to the Mesoestetic production facility in Barcelona, where you will visit the clinical labs and learn first-hand about treatment solutions, products, manufacturing safety standards and product testing. The cost of the visit is included in your course fees ENRICHMENT To further enhance your studies, you will have the chance to engage with industry professionals at events such as ACE Conference and Professional Beauty North. You will also be able to meet guest speakers including JCCP, oncology teams and product house experts
