INDUSTRY APPROVED University College Birmingham is working towards accreditation by the Health and Care Professions Council, and you will be able to apply for registration as a physiotherapist with both the HCPC and CSP when you graduate WORK PLACEMENTS An essential part of our course is a series of assessed work placements in a broad range of settings, exposing you to the array of skills you need to succeed as a physiotherapist and enabling you to experience the exciting, dynamic areas of this profession. Placements feature in every year of the course, enabling you to achieve the minimum 1,000 hours of practice placements required to register with the CSP upon completion of your degree PRACTICAL APPLICATION As well as your placements, you will also have the chance to hone your practical physiotherapy skills in a real-life environment on campus by working in our new state-of-the-art facilities, receiving guidance from our experienced staff and guest lecturers EXPERT TEACHING You will be taught in small groups through a mixture of lectures and practical lessons with excellent support from our experienced academic lecturers and personal tutors, as well as guest lecturers who have clinical expertise in a variety of areas SUBJECT-SPECIFIC FACILITIES We have a range of clinical teaching areas hosting cutting-edge simulation facilities to support your learning. These include our purpose-built, state- of-the-art Health Hub, as well as our strength and conditioning suite.
